Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can sometimes change, and we'll always do our best to be fair.

If you need to cancel your booking:

• More than 14 days before the event: Full refund.

• 7 to 14 days before the event: 50% refund.

• Less than 7 days before the event: Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a refund unless we are able to fill your child's place from our waiting list.

If your child is unable to attend due to illness, please contact us as soon as possible. Where possible, we'll do our best to offer a place at a future Author Experience, although this cannot be guaranteed.

Event Cancellation

Our Author Experiences require a minimum number of bookings to go ahead. If this minimum is not reached, we'll contact you as early as possible and offer either:

• A full refund, or

• A transfer to a future Big Thinking Author Experience.

If we ever need to cancel an event for any other reason, you will also receive the choice of a full refund or a transfer to another date.

Our aim is always to be as fair and flexible as possible while ensuring these special experiences can continue to inspire future young authors.
